Historic Charm

on Philadelphia's Main Line

Just minutes from Philadelphia on the prestigious Main Line, you’ll discover a venue that feels worlds away. Inspired by the elegance of an English country manor, Merion Tribute House surrounds you with beautifully maintained gardens, Gothic architecture, and timeless craftsmanship that create a naturally stunning backdrop for your wedding.

Whether you’re exchanging vows outdoors, welcoming guests beside the grand stone fireplaces, or celebrating in the spacious ballroom, every space is designed to flow effortlessly from one unforgettable moment to the next. Best of all, the estate’s character shines on its own, allowing your wedding to feel beautifully personal with as much—or as little—décor as you envision.

A Century of Stories,

ready for yours

When you celebrate at Merion Tribute House, you’re joining a story that began more than 100 years ago. Built in 1924 as a World War I memorial honoring 81 local servicemen, the estate was commissioned by Victor Talking Machine Company founder Eldridge Johnson, whose vision was to create “the most beautiful structure of its kind.”

Today, you’ll still discover hidden military emblems in the stained glass, handcrafted Samuel Yellin ironwork, two original Victor Victrolas, and the venue’s iconic wedding balcony—details that give the estate its unmistakable charm. It’s even the place where Tina Fey celebrated her own wedding, adding another memorable chapter to a venue that’s been bringing people together for generations. Now, it’s ready to become part of your story.
